TACCI and Globond Hosted Pre-Gala/Power Dinner
Sponsors Meeting
Turkish American Chamber of Commerce
and Industry (TACCI) in collaboration with Globond
International hosted a Pre-Gala/Power Dinner Sponsors
Meeting at The Marmara Manhattan Hotel, October 22,
2009. The sponsors so far were acknowledged: The Marmara
Manhattan Hotel, Nur Ercan Magden, Acting General
Manager (and a TACCI Premium Member); The House of
Burgundy, Inc., Mehmet Yorukoglu, President; and
Pasabahce-Sisecam USA, Neil Orzeck, Managing Director.
TACCI President Sevil Ozisik and Globond CEO Kirstin
Myers gave welcoming speeches about the upcoming TACCI
Gala/Power Dinner, which will take place in New York
City on January 21, 2010. Next they introduced all the
guests to one another.
Special guest Philip Berry, formerly the SVP of Global
Workplace Initiatives at Colgate and now President of
Philip Berry Associates (and TACCI’s newest member)
delivered an outstanding speech regarding the “The Four
Key Qualities of Leadership” to an audience that was
fully engaged.
During the evening, guests enjoyed the top-quality
Ancyra series of internationally famous Turkish wine “Kavaklidere”,
drinking from their “Pasabahce” (top Turkish glassware
maker) wine glasse
